Our process includes meeting every six weeks to review recently viewed productions, wherein committee members who viewed the shows submit nominations within these categories. Discussion is held, followed by preliminary voting to create a provisional list.

At the end of the viewing season, committee members hold a meeting to narrrow the ballot down to approximately five nominees, which are submitted to the public for final voting.

Conflicts of Interest

During our meetings, committee members with significant ties to the project (such as participation in the production, marriages or other romantic relationships with individuals in the production, or other potential conflicts of interest) leave the room for the duration of discussion and voting on the project.
